Xhosa Beaded Necklace

These lovely beaded necklaces are handmade by Elsie Mkosi, who lives in Scenery Park, a township on the outskirts of East London a seaside city of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. Elsie ekes out a living by making beaded jewellery which she sells on the sea front. She is pictured with her 2 grandchildren at her stall in East London.
